Machinery Section 1
We contribute to the achievement of a sustainable society through the machinery trading business.
With major companies in the key industries of Japan, such as Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc., Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc., Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., and Hitachi, Ltd. as our clients, Machinery Section 1 focuses on the machine equipment and industrial machinery trading business. In recent years, the Energy and Industry Department is expected to make rapid structural changes to achieve carbon neutrality. Machinery Section 1 makes proposals for machinery products and suggestions for functions to contribute to the achievement of a sustainable society.
Sales of Machinery and Equipment to Automobile Manufacturers
We act as a distributor for welding/painting robots (manufacturer: Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.) and die-casting machines (manufacturer: UBE Machinery Corporation, Ltd.) to Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc. playing a part in automobile production at its Miyata Plant, Kanda Plant and Kokura Plant. In line with the shift of the automobile industry to electric cars (EV) along with the movement towards a decarbonized society, we aim to have a flexible business structure to meet such social needs.
Sales of Equipment to Wind Power Generation Facilities
We sell gearboxes, the main equipment for large-scale wind-generated power facilities, to wind power generation facility manufacturers in- and outside of Japan. We also provide maintenance services to wind power plants in cooperation with partner companies. We intend to actively expand our business to offshore wind power generation, which is expected to see growth as an ace for GX (green transformation) strategies in Japan.
Sales of Standalone Machinery and Equipment
As an exclusive distributor for Fujisanki Inc., we sell parallel surface honing and grinding machine to customers in- and outside of Japan (Export achievements: USA, Korea, China, Taiwan, etc.).
Renewable Energy Business
Renewable energy is an environmental resource existing in and reproduced by nature, which is clean energy that does not emit carbon dioxide. It is an energy supply necessary for the achievement of a decarbonized society. Accurately grasping current social needs, we take an active part in the solar power generation business in Kyushu.
Automatic Energy Optimization System
Sojitz Kyushu has been a sales agent of the Energy Optimization System “PN-XERO” (Maker: PAL-COSMO) which efficiently inhibit power consumption as well as peak power which determines a minimum energy charge( basic charge) in retail stores, office buildings and other facilities. It can realize reduction of basic charge while reducing power consumption from the following month of the month in which the system was installed. We are actively promoting this system as an eco-friendly product.
